*Friday, September 21st, at 7pm we are hosting a workout fundraiser for the Green Beret Foundation. This orginization provides financial resources, immediate need supplies, caregiver assistance, and educational scholarships to wounded or ill Army Special Forces warriors and their families. Squats @ 225# (foot is feeling better but I opted to keep it lighter than RXed today)
3RM Weighted Pullups to 50#
DWOD: Total distance = 5 court lengths w/ 35# plates
3X5 back Squat: #165 (need to stay at this weight getting better though)
Max weight pull ups x3

– 3RM pull-ups: 0#. I tried 7.5# and got soooo close on my third rep but I ain’t counting it.

– 35# plates, total length about 4 court lengths. Found out my right thumb is oddly weak.
PROPOSAL
We should institute DJ Days (working title), where we get to bring in an hour long playlist for class. We could rotate through all those willing to participate. WHATCHA THINK?!

Ladies (sorry Gents)- The folks at GORUCK are contemplating an all women team for the 12/1 GORUCK Challenge. The long and short behind it is that they want to make sure the ladies get the full “good livin’” experience and anybody that’s done a GRC can speak to how great “good livin’” is. If you’re interested in signing me up or have any questions let me know .
Guys – If you know any ladies interested in doing a GRC let me know as well.
